Super Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

36 Cookies servings Prep: 15m Cook: 11m
Scale to servings (original: 36)
Ingredients
1.0 c Butter
0.75 c Light Brown Sugar
0.75 c White Sugar
Eggs
2.0 tsp Vanilla Extract
1.0 tsp Baking Soda
1.0 tsp Baking Powder
0.5 tsp Salt
3.0 c All Purpose Flour
2.0 c chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease with cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl with a handheld electric mixer or in the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the baking soda, baking powder, salt, flour and chocolate chips. Mix until combined.
4. Scoop the dough into 2-tablespoon size mounds (I use a #40 cookie scoop) and roll into balls. Place several inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
5. Bake for 10-11 minutes until the edges are just set and the middles are still light and fluffy.
6. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheets for 3-4 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
